This allows either for folk looking to have ample time to explore the central section of the Wall, or it tends to be the popular choice for those intent on walking the entire 84 miles (135kms) of the Hadrian's Wall Path National Trail.
For those seeking to walk the whole Trail, you need to be comfortable averaging a steady walking pace covering two miles (3kms) an hour over the length of a day - if you are, then one week (seven nights with six walking days) should be within your capabilities.
That said, you might want to take into consideration that this option doesn't allow too much opportunity to visit sites and locations away from the Trail itself (eg Vindolanda). So if that is on your list of priorities, we would recommend adding more time to your itinerary - the '7 Day Explorer' being a suggestion worth considering.

"thank you for organising my walk. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. All the b&b's etc were excellent and very welcoming, I met many nice people along the way, and even the weather was terrific. I can honestly say that I enjoyed every mile of the walk..."
