7 Days On the Wall

An extra day beyond the normal six to Walk the entire Trail, provides time to shorten daily walking distances (especially beneficial over the hilly central section), as well as allow more opportunity to explore sites of interest en-route.

On a 'Seven Day Explorer Walk' you have time to spend half a day at Vindolanda (the only ongoing archaeological dig site in the vicinity of the Wall), or even extend your walk by six miles so that you can complete a full Coast to Coast traverse across the country - from the Irish Sea to the North Sea.
