Five Nights provides the opportunity for a '4 Day Walk' taking in the 'Best of the Wall', which can be considered as the 50 miles stretch between Carlisle and Heddon-on-the-Wall, or alternatively, you could choose to walk a shorter distance, between the Rivers Irthing and North Tyne (approximately 30 miles), giving yourself more time to explore the likes of Lanercost Priory, Birdoswald, the Roman Army Museum, Aesica, Vindolanda, Housesteads, Chesters and of course all of the famous sites on the Wall itself - Walltown, Winshields Crags, Steel Rigg, Peel Crag, Sycamore Gap, Sewingshields Crags, the Milecastles, Turrets, Bridges, Forts...
With a 'Part-Guided' itinerary, we offer the choice of either one or two of your four days being 'guided'. The guided section (depending on the number of days chosen) usually takes in many of the main sites of interest and is therefore a great opportunity to have your Guide interpret the heritage that can often be missed without the benefit of that local knowledge.
To fine-tune the options for a 'Five Night Part-Guided Walk' duration further, we have three categories that are specific to the size of the group - ie One Person (Solo), Two Persons (Duo) or Three or More Persons (Group).
